The US Airforwarders Association (AfA) has written to US president Joe Biden to ask for funding to be allocated for the improvement of cargo facilities at the country’s airports. In his letter, AfA executive director Brandon Fried said it was disappointing that the recent announcement of $970m in grants for airport improvements had yet to be designated for improvements in cargo areas that will help alleviate truck congestion (source: Aircargonews).
